Abstract
Abstract: The vapour-deposition polymerization method was used to coat hollow-fibre carbon membranes with a stoichiometric mixture of polyimide-forming monomers; the coated membranes were heated in a nitrogen atmosphere to give composite carbon-polyimide membranes. Water contact angle measurements were used to control imidization reaction. The membranes were tested for H2N2 separation.
